NRUTYANGANA * PRITI PAYAL

Nrutyangana-Priti PayalWell, Priti Payal has got a unique personality within her. She has armoured many things within her in a very short period. She entered into the field of dance at a very tender age. She did her training under the guidance of the Guru Shri Subash Chandra Swain in Nrutyangana. Her devotion, perseverance and commitment helped her to achieve the pillars of success. Her perfection of the art of Odissi dance, her svelte, her elegance, her graceful movements and various facial expressions has won her recognition.

Priti Payal has many awards to her credit. She has perforemed in many parts of India and even in many festivals and well known seminars. Her dance has many times kept people spellbound. Presntly, Priti Payal is continuing her B.Tech degree from NIST, Berhampur in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Nrutyangana-Sudeshna JenaSudeshna Jena began her training in Odissi dance at the age of seven from Guru Shri Subash Chandra Swain. She has completed her ‘Nrutya Visarad’ from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Sudeshna Jena has performed at various places of India like Puri Beach Festival, Haldia Festival Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Sikim, Agra, Mysore, Tosali, Haryana, Deradoon, Dhenkanal Mahostsave, Kharavela Mahotsave Odissa etc.

Sudeshna Jena has completed her B.A from Dhenkanal College with Pshychology (Hons.) then she completed her P.G in Child Psychology under Utkal University Orissa. Currently, she is continuing her dance training & performance under Guru Shri Subash Chandra Swain in Nrutyangana.

Nrutyangana-Sasmita RathSasmita Rath initiated into dance at any age of 5. Sasmita Rath was carefully nurtured by the eminent Guru Shri Subash Chandra Swain. She has completed her ‘Nrutya Visarad’ from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Meeraj. She has performed Odissi dance at various parts of India like Puri Beach Festival, Haldia Festival Kolkata, Boita Vandana Utsav Paradeep, Oriya Mahotsav Raipur, Vijayawada, J.K Pur, Mysore, Tosalu Festival, Odissi Dibas Deraboon, Kolkata, Nagpur, Jaipur, Mangalore, Haryana and Punjab.

Sasmita Rath has many awards to her credit. She holds a Junior National Scholarship award by the Ministry of HRD Govt. of
India. Sasmita has completed her B.E from Synergy, Dhenkanal. She is continuing her dance training & performance under Guru Shri Subash Chandra Swain in Nrutyangan.

Mandakini Maharana has come across to the flow of Odissi dance at the age of 10, then the neverending journey is continuing up to at the age of 22. Mandakini has completed B.Sc from Ravenshaw Autonomous college and then completed M.Sc & M.Phil in Geology from Utkal University, Vani Vihar. Nrutyangana-Chandrika-Kimiko YanagidaOdissi dance troup “Chandrika” was established at Osaka, Japan in 1995 by Kimiko Yanagida. This best Odissi dance school Japan was inspired by one of the best Odissi dance school IndiaNrutyangana’. Now Chandrika has 50 members at Osaka, Kobe and Tokyo. Members of Chandrika have performed n major cities in Japan like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nana, Kobe, Nagoya Fukuoka etc and participated in many occasions like the 50th Anniversary of Indo-Japan diplomatic relations 2003, Dance festival in Yamaguchi University 2005, Asia Music Festival 2007, The Silk Road Symposium 2007, Dance Festival “IMAGES” in Hope University Michigian USA 2007 etc.

Chandrika had invited Guru Suabash Chandra Swain form India for special workshop in Osaka, Japan. Chandrika has many programs organized by India consulate, Osaka. Chandrika contributes to understanding India culture including Odissi in Japan.
